Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center is a Wildlife Rehabilitation & Care Center located in South Salem, Oregon. We provide treatment and care to sick, injured and orphaned native Oregon wildlife and return them to their natural habitat.
TRWC strives to enhance awareness and appreciation of the environment; foster a connection between humans and Oregon's native wildlife, through education programs and referrals.
The Center cares and houses all kinds of sick, orphaned and injured wildlife. They stay at the center until each one can be returned to their natural habitat. This includes feeding, cleaning and caring for them on a continual basis. The entire process can take any where from a couple of days to several months for each animal. We care for a large variety of birds, waterfowl, raccoons, deer, squirrels and skunks.
Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center has a hot-line called the Wild-Line - were trained volunteers answer calls from the public, dispatch volunteers from the Quick Response Team and give out information. The Quick Response Team is first on the scene to assist & help wildlife. They assess the animal for transport or care. They use the opportunity to share with the caller/home owner the importance of living with wildlife, rehabilitation and conservation.
Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) Organization and there are many ways you can help. Please visit our site to learn more. Thank you
