Craig Amberson
My parents told me that when I was only 1 1/2 years old I would crawl
under the kitchen table and curl up to sleep with our old Collie mix.
If any of my siblings would try to bother me the dog was very
protective and wouldn't let them close. Only mother was allowed to
remove me from Curly's care.
Since I was watched over so closely by my canine companion as a child, I feel now I have a debt to repay to animals who need help and watching over themselves. Having fun while creating art that benefits animals in need is a wonderful feeling.
Bio
Craig Amberson is a professional animal artist who is a native of Washington State. He shares a beautiful rural home there with his wife and artist companion Tanya, their dog, three cats and several chickens.
Craig's medium of choice is acrylic paint and he uses it to create vibrant, often whimsical, Pop Art pieces on gallery wrapped canvas. He sells most of his creations on eBay with a portion of the sale proceeds going to help animal rescue. He is currently available to do commissions.
