Burt Purmell

"I  became interested in helping animals as a child visiting with my uncle who was a Cornell trained vet. I've always used my advertising background to create fliers that successfully found homes for strays that my wife and her mom rescued. The next step followed logically. My wife and I became Board Members of a local adoption program called C.A.T.S. Caring About The Strays Inc, Schenectady, NY.
We currently have one cat,  He was sitting in a cage with a sign that read "Adopt Michael O'Toole for St Patrick's Day." How could we resist? Now we can't imagine life without him!" Burt Purmell
